Crafted with Chardonnay from the original vineyards that composed the triumphant 1973 vintage at the Judgment of Paris, Chateau Montelena’s limited-edition brandy reimagines a historic milestone through a contemporary lens. Marking the winery’s inaugural spirit release, it is distilled from a blend of Chardonnay from the John Muir Hanna, Belle Terre and Bacigalupi Vineyards and aged in a selection of curated barrels. As the first in a series of 10 sequential bottlings, each release reveals its own character, shaped by the unique cooperage combinations and extended aging. Every bottle is hand-filled and labeled, individually numbered and signed.
