2025 Potter Valley Riesling
The 2025 growing season in Potter Valley was mild, consistent, and long – just what we like to see for optimal development of the rich and complex flavors that make our Riesling such a standout.
The wine opens with honeysuckle and ginger on the nose, along with Asian pear, apricot and orange blossom. On the palate, green apple and white peach dominate but there’s an abundance of lime leaf, Meyer lemon and even a touch of pineapple. Citrus drives the finish, effusive as ever as Meyer lemon and more subtle as lemon-grass. While not particularly spicy, there is a hint of cinnamon which will become more prominent with time in glass. These vintages tend to age incredibly well.
