2025 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc
2025 was a welcome return to a cool, temperate vintage. Sauvignon Blanc can hide its true identity in the extremes, but in 2025 while leaning cool, had just enough heat for the added complexity that makes this wine so delicious.
This wine strikes the perfect balance between cool vintage character and the potential ripeness of the variety. The notes lean more floral—with honeysuckle, orange blossom and jasmine, while there’s some beautiful stone fruit lurking below the surface, mostly as apricot and white nectarine.
The palate is bursting with candy-like fruit—green apple, dried mango and lemon zest with the finish bright and refreshing. Over the next year, more secondary characteristics from barrel influence and toast will emerge, developing further complexity.
