Self-Booking
In addition to our Visitor Experiences, members enjoy access to member-exclusive offerings.
Each experience may include combined parties up to 8 participants. Only pre-paid adults participating in the tasting will be admitted. Our tasting room is an alcohol service venue, thus individuals under the age of 21 are not permitted. Experience fees, when applicable, do not include local sales tax.

CellarMaster Experience
MEMBER EXCLUSIVE
The CellarMaster Experience dives deeper into the craftsmanship of our signature wines. This semi-private, seated experience includes designated parking, a personalized tour and a curated lineup of library vintages and member-exclusive selections. Offered daily at 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. by reservation. $95 per person; complimentary member benefits apply.

Judgment of Paris Commemorative Experience
MEMBER EXCLUSIVE
Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Judgment of Paris with a limited-time Chardonnay focused experience. Learn the real story behind the legendary 1973 Chardonnay and the competition that forever changed the perception of California wines worldwide. During this blind tasting, you’ll uncover the distinctive intricacies of four different Chardonnay vintages and expressions while exploring their evolution over time. We’ll toast farewell with a pour of library Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. Offered on Sundays at 2:30 p.m. and Mondays at 11:00 a.m. by reservation (January – December 2026). $125 per person; complimentary member benefits apply.

Heart of the Vineyard

The Heart of the Vineyard experience is hosted on the patio of our private residence in the center of our Estate vineyard. During this immersive tasting and vineyard tour, learn about the unique intricacies of the Montelena Estate and its influence on each vintage of our handcrafted wines. Offered on Thursdays at 11:00 a.m. by reservation (April – October). $195 per person.

Hosted on the peaceful setting of Jade Lake on your own private island, enjoy a picnic and bottle of Montelena. Members are welcome to bring their own food, pre-order a picnic lunch basket or explore additional catering options to elevate the experience. Offered daily by reservation. Complimentary with qualifying membership.
