Annual Payment
Your first Estate membership payment will take place upon enrollment for the 2023 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, which will release in November 2026. Thereafter, you’ll secure each new vintage of the Montelena Estate Cabernet in July of each year for delivery in the fall. Your full member benefits will be available once your first payment is confirmed.
Estate Overview
Membership in this program is the only way to guarantee access to our flagship wine, the Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. Each year, members have the option to receive either six or twelve bottles at pre-release pricing. Enjoy a variety of member benefits listed below, as well as access to special vintages and offers.
Anticipated Costs
- Pre-release pricing is established and communicated prior to each July’s payment and is typically 25% off the anticipated release price. The 2023 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon will be offered at a pre-release six pack price of $990, compared to a regular price of $1,350. This special pricing is only available to Estate members during each summer’s membership payment window.
- Anticipated cost excludes shipping or state wine taxes which vary based on shipping destination.

- Receive reduced shipping on 12 bottle case orders when purchasing online, over the phone, or in person: $10 Ground service or 50% off Express service per case.* Excludes Estate membership releases.

*Applies to all orders of twelve 750ml bottles shipping in a single box to a single address. Available service options may vary based on destination and weather conditions.
**Members who secure twelve bottles annually in the Estate program receive the aforementioned reduced shipping benefit per six pack, as well as four complimentary seats when reserving Taste of Montelena, CellarMaster, Explore Ageability, or Judgment of Paris Commemorative experiences.
